Come!

Merry Christmas Eve to each of you.

Luke 2:8-14
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,
which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Bring A Torch Jeanette Isabella lyrics at Christmas-Songs.Org:

Listen to the music of Bring a torch, Jeanette, Isabella and sing along. Merry Christmas!

Bring a torch, Jeannette, Isabella
Bring a torch, come swiftly and run
Christ is born, tell the folk of the village
Jesus is sleeping in His cradle
Ah, ah, beautiful is the Mother
Ah, ah, beautiful is her Son.

It is wrong when the Child is sleeping
It is wrong to talk so loud
Silence all as you gather around
Lest your noise should waken Jesus
Hush! hush! see how fast He slumbers
Hush! hush! see how fast He sleeps.

Hasten now, good folk of the village
Hasten now, the Christ-Child to see
You will find him asleep in the manger
Quietly come and whisper softly
Hush, hush, peacefully now He slumbers
Hush, hush, peacefully now He sleeps.

Softly to the little stable
Softly for a moment come
Look and see how charming is Jesus
How He is white, His cheeks are rosy
Hush! hush! see how the Child is sleeping
Hush! hush! see how He smiles in his dreams.

Come unto me,
all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
